Very unimpressed with the way the staff (two males) behaved towards my wife this evening. They couldn't be bothered to serve her despite being inside the published opening hours of the post office, and when she questioned this they just laughed at her! Won't be using this place again with their moronic staff.
The current manager is quite direct and rude. He has no social skills and has limited experience of his business. He smiles and thinks it is ok to talk down to you - especially since his command of the english language is very basic. The rest of the staff are also inexperienced but appear polite. Occasionally they have teenagers running the post office with no work experience or adult supervision. Some one needs to spot check this post office. The standard and service has deteriorated since the previous owners moved on. Hope the workers are replaced soon.
Usually helpful and polite but I went at 9:20 today and it wasn't open. My husband had driven me there to post a parcel as yesterday we went to Shenley Church End po and at 10:30 it was closed. The man serving in the shop said she would arrive in a few minutes which she didn't. I said I had someone waiting in the car for me. He said what are you in a hurry or something? I said actually yes! We were on our way to do our weekly supermarket shop. My husband does work all week. I then asked him if he could do the parcel himself. He reluctantly replied that he could and sloped off to get the cash float. Even as he was serving me he was saying that it wouldn't be collected until 12:30 anyway. I don't have all day to pop back to post offices on the off chance that staff may have finally turned up for work! Yes there was snow on the ground and my husband has driven from MK to Oxford all week to attend his work. This staff member could have offered to serve right away instead of me having to bully him into it.

Terrible service. A couple of months ago I was refused a till receipt or any other proof of posting. I was told it does not existYesterday I was overcharged for 2 books of postage stamps! I queried this and was again refused a till receipt.I returned having recalculated at home, and was told by the assistant that he assumed 1st and 2nd class stamps were the same price! (He gave me my money back)This is worrying with regard to more important transactions.I agree with a previous reviewer. If you don't want to run a post office, let someone else do it.
