Lovely afternoon tea for my mother's birthday. Great selection of bites, all delicious. My only criticism would be not enough savoury to counteract the sweet.Great value for money at 16 each for tea/coffee and all the goodies, my personal favourites were the lemon tart and the plain scone - which was still warm inside!!Opting for pots of tea, we were also told we'd get hot water refills for free which was handy as there were so many treats, we needed more to wash them down with.
Really nice place and right in the heart of Milton Keynes, Staff were all really friendly. Ambience was really good when I was there. Food was really good. Great place to take the family or friends. Will be back soon.
Service was very slow as they had only 2 staff serving and must been 8 tables to serve and more people were arriving, when served it was good. Food was nice but had to keep getting up to ask for things like jug of water, mustard sauce, more toast and as there was only 2 of them they did their best but one just waits till extra toast arrives or tea arrives etc. Pancakes went back as they were too chewy to eat. Moneywise bit expensive but acceptable,there was 7 of us.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast while driving home from a night away. The service was lovely and we both had the steak and eggs which was good quality and cooked to our liking. All in all it was a lovely place to stop and we will look out for other Browns branches on our travels in the future.
All the good reviews that I have read about this property are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service.
