I went here tonight with my partner,my brother and sister and their partners. I can't say we were amazed.....to start with the restaurant had no record of our booking despite my brother booking it online days prior to today. I don't believe the front of house handled the situation in the best possible manner, he didn't try to resolve the issue in the first instance it was only when we showed him the booking that he made any attempt to resolve the issue,we were early so we waited in a small seated area by the bar which was fine,eventually we were seated at a table and we ordered drinks,we were also asked if we would like water on our table which we said yes we would....never turned up throughout the whole meal, we were all happy with the food we ordered and it tasted great, possibly a little over priced for the portion you get. My partner also asked for a SMALL coke during the meal as he had finished his previous drink,a pint sized drink was brought to the table and when we checked the bill there was no charge for a small coke only large cokes,despite my partner asking specifically for a small coke, this I don't think was on and is a sneaky way of the waiting staff to push the bill up,finally we also noticed an 'optional service charge' of 10% was added to our bill despite not being asked which again is a sneaky way of what I am guessing would be the company's way of boosting revenue, this isn't on you need to make sure your customers are aware of this, we didn't pay the service charge as we didn't feel the service and experience we received was amazing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and I won't be returning.
Manager went out of his way for our Stag do. Absolutely brilliant! Fantastic food! Great staff!!
Great food and great service.Only down side was u get the choose to pay 10% service charge if paying with card. I paid cash and they just took the 10%!
Fantastic experience! Great food and fantastic service. Will definitely return amd refer to friends and family. Meat vooked perfectly on all dishes and falls off the bone on the touch, very tasty. Love it.
Ordered a 'rump' steak for my Sunday lunch with a side order of roast vegetables! It was super tasty and cooked to my requirements. The service was excellent, partly I suppose to the lovely 'Karen' who I'd like to mention because she was so efficient, polite and attentive. Well done to her!!
