No choice of wine (which is on draught!) as your free glass and they wouldn't give credit towards buying a different glass from a bottle. Take it or leave it! That's not the attitude. Also tables dirty so had to ask for them to clean them. However food good and coffee surprisingly good and cheap.
Typical large Wetherspoons that is no diffferent to any other in terms of whats on offer. Theres something not right about the seating areas. It all feels a bit open - like youre sitting in a factory canteen or something. Staff that dealt with me were very nice and super efficient, particularly when combined with the fantastic app.
Nice ambiance in a large open plan bar/restaurant set in the Escape. Wide range of drinks, from a coke or a cuppa, to a beer, wine or even a spirit. A full menu which includes dietary information for a large selection of starters, mains, deserts and sides, as well as bar snacks. All at reasonable prices. Plenty of parking however as its Central Milton Keynes parking charges apply the closest being 80p an hour in the blue zone or 50p an hour in the purple zone. They have disabled facilities as well.
The food was excellent!! But the serving staff need to smile and be a little interactive. They were all so sad and would not even acknowledge your thank you. This made whole dinner un-enjoyable.
Ok for a quick no frills bite to eat. I was not fully comfortable being a woman on my own but that's my personal opinion. Other than that clean and tidy, plenty of seating but could probably do with a few more staff behind the bar
