I rarely have a problem in getting an appointment, receptionists are extremely polite and professional. Fishermead Medical has an unremarkably acceptable standard of service. The GP's on the other hand are very memorable for their lack of concern, empathy and tact. Most notable of those is Dr. Kansagra. He constantly minimises the importance of ones symptoms, tries to say that he can't suggest treatment, even told me that he doesn't know where he would refer me to deal with a problem that he said is very common. He diminishes ones confidence in seeking medical help for ailments that are life altering. Sometimes he will write you a prescription, others he will write arbitrary words on a sticky note and send you to google, at all times he can't wait to get you out of his office whether your issue is addressed or not. I can say without hesitation that being a client of this practice is disappointing and disempowering...the reception team deserves 3 stars though, they are a great team...but that one star rating is for the Dr's
Its hard to get appointment and to be honest that probably will save your life one day as this people got their diplomas from car boot sale. Lack of any even basic knowledge is not the biggest problem. Lack of good will is. They even not trying to help. Their attitude stinks. All they do is taking taxpayers money for doing nothing. AVOID

I was there just once, I come there with strong pain in my stomach, Dr just touch my belly and said pain it's cuz I have too much acids in inside, explain to me to him god said to him to i smoke and drink too much alcohol... my pain was not cuz acids, it's something wrong inside but they don't want even check what's happen, noo blood test no RTG, till now I suffer and nobody can help me.... when I try book appointment all time they said it's fully booked even if I call after 7am.... Rate 0 not recomend
Not worthy of a single star, for 6 months left my partner suffering in pain while they constantly fail to book appointments or successfully communicate with specialists or the hospital, they should be sued for their negligence. I would recommend you go ANYWHERE else if you can at all help it. Without any doubt the least professional medical practitioners we've ever encountered. For us they have done more harm than good.
