Steak was wrong in 1 mains, burger had no sauce and was very dry on another. Another friend ordered blue cheese sauce but was melted cheddar and very floury. Banana cheesecake was nice. Middleton's brownie sundae was nearly 6 and contained 2 quail egg sized scoops of ice cream and utterly overpriced. Not like a standard sundae. Waiting staff and management were very polite and lovely. Would go back again but know what to avoid for future reference.

I've visited Middleton's numerous times as until very recently I used to work in Milton Keynes. The quality of the food is fairly good, and the service is a little slow but it's acceptable. The only issue I have when I eat here is the staff's reactions to my dietary requirements, which consistently border on incredulous and as if I have insulted their own mother's cooking. It's a little off-putting, but as there are so few good steak houses in the area I just accept it as part of the service.

Went there yesterday with the family. Staff were welcoming, polite and very helpful especially with the thorny problem of allergies. The decor was nice and the food was good - not outstanding - but good enough. My youngest grandson said "best chips ever"So,why only 3 stars? Mostly because I was bloody frozen! We remarked on the ambient temperature when we arrived and the waitress said they had adjusted it and it should warm up. It never did and every time the door opened it got worse. And, yes we did tell them; several times.Might go again but only in summer- or maybe wearing a Parka!

Had a great time here, and was impressed on all fronts. We had the 22oz Porterhouse medium-rare which was perfect; and a Blue (great they offer this!) 12oz fillet steak which was absolutely brilliant. Compliments to the Chef's for steaks well cooked. They have a fantastic range of steaks here, and the staff always recommend how it is best served (cooked). Don't bother going here if you have your steak 'well-done'. This isn't the place for you...The calamari was well cooked and fresh, the only negative was the whole lobster was rather small.. but tasted great.Good cocktails & good service, in an atmospheric & friendly location. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Nice place. Good service. The food is also okay. But loved the dessert. Especially the sticky toffee pudding! Would go back for sure especially for the sticky toffee pudding.
