Excellent customer service. Decent food but their kunafa (dessert) was amazing! I tried it for the first time and fell in love! Its now one of my favourite desserts...
This is a really good restaurant. The food is well priced, very well presented and well cooked. The staff are polite, friendly and very efficient.The atmosphere is lively, but friendly. There is a belly dancing troupe who liven the place up and who get audience participation and encouraged people to get up and dance.It was a lovely evening and we'll return at some point
I've eaten at Melis twice this month. Both times it was really cold in there, enough to keep a coat on. The lunch menu was great value and the food delicious...but the evening meal was underwhelming. The soup wasn't as good, nor was the cold mezze, and the rice didn't taste good either, and the meats weren't anything special. Not sure if they were having an off day or if it was a different chef. The staff are always friendly
We had our wedding, we was extremely pleased with the food and service! The staff was really helpfully and so friendly. All our @50 guests was really pleased. We recommend this place, is brilliant. I want to say tank you to all staff for the service.
Another great time at Melis...we booked a table this time but the only one available was in front of the door which the Kamillo (who is amazing!) was not happy to give us. He suggested we wait in the bar and a better table would be available in a couple of minutes. Sure enough, before our drinks were poured, he directed us to a nice table and had our drinks brought over.Food was amazing...again and I love the fact you can look into the spotlessly clean kitchen to see your food cooked.If you haven't been...you have to go!
