We have been taking all our family's bikes to P&D for repairs/servicing for several years. Things are always done quickly and at very low cost. I also bought my bike from P&D and have been very happy with it.
I regularly take my bike in for a service and am always happy with the result. The owner has been fixing bikes for decades and provides a good service for a reasonable price.This is an old fashioned shop in the best sense.They will only do the necessary fix and won't try to upsell.
With reference to M Smith's review I got the same treatment! Not very helpful - told us that we'd fitted the gearing incorrectly and that he wouldn't touch it! But like M Smith, fixed by Halfords in 10 mins! And then shops like this wonder why they don't stay in business
Called in advance. The pedal arm on my fold up bike had fallen off while cycling. Helpful over the phone. Took the bike in and it was fixed for a good price, within 10 minutes. Lovely guy.
We brought a bike from here 20 years ago. Bob said then the bike would last and 20 years later I have brought it in for a little professional TLC. Experience, knowledge and great advice. What more could you want from a business.I have always been impressed with this company and of course the company is Bob.
