I recently had to go out of hours to have my beloved 17 year old cat put to sleep, the vet was very kind and caring and supportive through the very heart breaking process. I had three cats and had only 2 months ago had to go through the same ordeal , the vets in Stony were very understanding at that time and said to just leave quietly and return to settle the account. I did fine that this time I had forms to fill in and girls standing waiting to be paid, as I tried to get my act together and put wrong number in 3 times! I did feel this was not easy and thought that if possible they could offer a pay over the phone facility when people are obviously in distress. We got an appointment quickly and overall am pleased with the service, I received a lovely condolence card in the post.
I had to bring my Miniature Schnauzer in as she was vomiting, and it was out of hours for my own vet. This is the 2nd time Ive had to use this emergency vet, the first time was 4 years ago. The staff there are great, and they treated Holly really well. As a pet owner, you never want to visit a vet due to an emergency, but if you do then its nice to know that they are as good as this. If anyone from this practice is reading this, thank you for your kindness, and making Holly better.
We had to take our puppy for overnight care with Vets Now. As you can imagine we were distraught that our puppy was ill. However, Vets Now welcomed us warmly and gave us comfort. The front desk was friendly and the overnight Vets/carers were extremely kind, knowledgable and very attentive to the needs of Loki. Thank you so much for looking after him and providing him with excellent levels of care, it is very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this practice, not just for overnight stays but in general.
I was very impressed with the kindness, care and professionalism of the vet and nurse who treated my dog. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Usually good service but the person we saw on the weekend had poor empathy for our dog. We recognise his condition is not terminal but the advice given was if no op took place then euthanasia was the other option! For a dog with a torn CCL I dont think so!
