Historically this was the stop for Great Linford on the Wolverton to Newport Pagnell railway. It is now being looked after as if it is to be an entrant in one of the "in bloom" competitions. The railway has now been replaced by the Redway network which is popular with all types of people including dog walkers, cyclists, runners and people commuting around the city.
