The team here at the Norfolk House clinic have been looking after me for my laser eye surgery pre-op and after-care (the surgery is not done here mine was done at Harley Street). From the start communication has been brilliant, the staff polite welcoming and accomodating, and the clinical care top notch. Pre-op checks were thorough and repeated. The information provided was comprehensive and allowed me to make an informed choice. At no point was anyone pushing anything on me, and all my awkward questions were answered honestly. I had i-design LASIK laser surgery for short sightedness in both eyes (-5.0). There is a tiny risk to laser eye surgery but the vast majority of people sail through with very little problems. My vision is now 2 lines better than 20:20, my night vision better than it was in glasses and my post op dry eyes now cleared up after 5 months using drops. The team here have kept a close eye on my eyes every month or so and are now happy to discharge me as a normal person, although all after care is free as part of the package for a year post op. Practically, the one thing I'd mention is bring change for the parking! Laser eye surgery is a big decision to make and a lot of money (disclaimer, mine was free as I am Emergency services staff and Optical Express have been giving surgery to us for free under the Thanks A Million scheme) but I would definitely say it is worth it if you need glasses or contacts to function like I did. The difference to my life has been amazing and throughout the whole process I have felt looked after. I cannot fault the team at Norfolk House, or Optical Express as a company and I would highly recommend coming here to discuss laser surgery if you are thinking about it, they truly are the best.
