Ordered a nest with "Pro" installation, this guy turns up. Turns out he's not qualified to touch a boiler and goes. I have to contact Nest to get someone else in. Nest gave me the Electrasmart again, with an appointment another month later. The day finally rolls around and an hour after they were due to turn up, they call saying they can't do it today and they'll rearrange another time.
I have electrical cover with Homeserve who unfortunately outsource their work to Electrasmart. Firstly, if you do book an engineer to come out to your house make sure you book the appointment for the day, as Electrasmart technicians will just not turn up if its cold or wet, but will instead inform Homeserve that you (the Homeserve customer) have cancelled the appointment. I had an engineer visit me this late this afternoon, instead of fixing the problem, he caused more. Electrasmart technicians all seem to be very young and very inexperienced, in some cases lacking the basic knowledge that is required to work on anything electrical.
Incompetence at its finest, I've been waiting to have my smart thermostat installed for months now only to be told on the day of my appointment that the electrician is either sick or has a family emergency! Clearly too small and underskilled to handle the work they get!
Very poor service, was indoors between my allocated time had a missed call from engineer stating that my job had been put down as customer not home because I hadnt answered his phone call. I wasnt told to make my phone available but was told I should stay indoor to ensure an engineer could gain access to work on my boiler.
Came to do a Nest Install, which I was told was very simple. Upon arrival I was given a completely different story to what I had been told by Nest and read online. So I refused the installation and called Nest. Nest then compensated me to source another electrician. I did this and my Nest was installed perfectly two days later and is working great!
